A new income tax proposal taking shape in the Senate looks promising. It would require billionaires to pay their fair share of taxes like ordinary average American workers. My gut feeling is that Democrats could use this as a winning issue for them in the 2024 election, although MAGA media will desperately make the opposite argument.
Speaking of wealthy tax dodgers... here's another example of ridiculous MAGA bullshit concerning gag orders: Porky Pisswig can ignore them without consequences because threatening judges, prosecutors, and witnesses by urging his MAGA zombies to commit violence against them is free political speech protected by the Constitution. The only reason we're being forced to suffer through year after year of this worthless asshole is that he's allowed to ignore all the rules of the game all the time. It would be better if he was punished instead of pampered.
When I was a little boy, General Eisenhower, who conquered the Nazis, was president, and my dad had been in Europe fighting the war against Nazis. Later on, I watched movies and read comic books about American soldiers killing lots of Nazis. That's how I was raised: Nazis were the bad guys, and the only good Nazi was a dead one.
Democrats on the Senate Judiciary Committee have voted to subpoena Harlan Crow and Leonard Leo, two right-wing sugar daddies involved in the outrageous corruption of the Supreme Court, particularly Clearance Sale Thomas and Smirking Sammy Alito. MAGA members of the committee will do all they can to prevent the investigation, but Clearance and Sammy need to be exposed and removed from the Court.
