It's Obama's Fault ~~ Part 6,842

There's been some discussion on Fox News that if Obama had attended tea party rallies, the country wouldn't be as divided today. Strangely enough, there are several million mental defectives in the United States who actually base decisions upon information obtained from Fox News Channel... another reason why we can't have nice things.

There are some real crazy-ass motherfuckers circulating out on the extreme fringes of the right wing in America, and if we didn't have the internet, I'd probably never know they were there or what they had on their sick minds.

Standoff

It's still to early to know for sure, but Obama may have finally realized he's more effective when he tells the GOP to go fuck themselves instead of trying to keep them happy. If he successfully kneecaps the goddamned tea party, he'll go in the books as an American hero.

Failure, Part I

If I wasn't so fucking disgusted, I'd laugh out loud whenever some Republican asshole claims that Obama has failed to unite the country. When those assholes talk about uniting America, they mean that Obama should forget he won the 2008 election fairly decisively, that he should give the Republicans 100 percent of what they want, and 99 percent of what they think they want.

The truth is, Obama has been a disappointment in many respects, mainly because he kept trying to make peace with congressional GOPers, offer a few reasonable compromises, and fiddled around for days when circumstances called for a swift knee to their groins and a razor slash to their throats.

Fantasies

Right-wing extremists believe that everything Obama does is WRONG. Left-wing extremists believe that everything Obama does is WRONG. Who said Americans couldn't unite in brotherhood in the common cause of shared anger ?

The president's latest foreign policy decisions have conservatives grinning about a possibility that Democrats are so disenchanted with Obama they'll support a challenger in the Democratic primaries next year. That's the kind of play that would be typical of numbskull Democrats, and would virtually guarantee Obama's defeat in November.

Even without a challenge from his left, conservatives are convinced Obama has disillusioned liberals to such an extent that they'll just sit out the election. Republicans aren't the wisest owls on the limb, though. There's a good chance they'll nominate this bimbo or someone equally repugnant, causing Democrats to turn out in record numbers.

In Washington D.C.

I watched some of Obama's State of the Union address last night. Has no one had the heart to tell this man his presidency is over ? There were people in the crowd standing and clapping, but I doubt many of them were Republicans. Today, the usual suspects in the media were chipping away at the shortcomings of Obama's address. A lot of the same writers used to treat W's speeches as the equivalent of Shakespearean oratory.
