Quarantine Notes, Day 64

The first day of the tenth week. Still okay.

As Whole claims that he's been taking hydroxychloroquine for a while as a preventive step, even though he's being tested for COVID-19 all the time. The rap on this treatment is that it can produce some bad side effects, up to and including the endless sleep. My immediate reaction is that this is more bullshit designed to control the media's attention this week. If he's not lying (but he probably is), maybe he'll finally have to deal with the consequences of being America's Biggest As Whole. Or maybe he's being given a placebo, and is being told it's hydroxychloroquine to keep him happy.

Maybe America needs both Fauci and Birx, although both have taken a lot of fire from disgruntled (D)s who are too impatient for their own good.

Hullabaloo on the case for wearing masks

Blast from the past? Tommy Tuberville coached at Texas A&M for one season (1994) as Slocum's defensive coordinator. He replaced Bob Davie (a great DC) and the Aggies went 10-0-1 that year. Now Tuberville is running against Bo Sessions in the Alabama (R) primary for a seat in the Senate. Give me a fucking break.
