Yesterday's big news story included confirmation that Aileen (Loose) Cannon will in fact be the presiding judge when the waste of shit's espionage case goes to trial in Florida. The panic that has ensued among Democrats was predictable. Loose Cannon has already been an obstruction in the stolen documents investigation, and it's obvious she's the kind of gal who would probably enjoy rolling around in piles of Mongo Wrongo's dirty underwear.
Since she already has the reputation for extreme bias in waste of shit's favor, Aileen will probably be under the media microscope from the first minutes of the first day of the proceedings, and it's still not clear what legal remedies will be available to Jack Smith if she gets too cozy with Mongo again.
Bottom line: Many (D) observers quickly reached the conclusion that the waste of shit will soon be dancing away, unpunished again, because it's happened so many times before. I'm not there yet myself.
