The MAGA Monkey party dilemma:
Most American voters are either bored to tears by Mongo Wrongo's personal grievance routine or despise him for other reasons. There aren't enough MAGA morons who are still in love with Mongo to elect him in 2024, but there are enough to keep anyone else from being nominated.
It seems to me the division in the country is between people who love America and people who don't. People in the majority are satisfied with their lives and believe the good things about life in the United States outweigh the bad things. Those in the minority lead miserable lives and blame their unhappiness on the society they live in. These are the same people who look at Russia under Vladimir Putin and envy Russians.
I believe people who love America are able to give the social structure some credit for their contentment, and usually vote for Democrats. Those who blame the social structure for their misery are almost always aligned with the MAGA Monkey party. Democrats generally believe America is already pretty great as it is, but would be better without so many MAGA Monkeys.
