The most suitable metaphor I can come up with is that, thanks to The DonHole, reading the news every day feels like the United States has been trapped under a stalled attack of atmospheric diarrhea for about 2,600 consecutive days. Use your imagination to visualize liquid shit pouring down on every state, day after day, week after week.
