Q NOTES # 851: In the Land of the Weird

We aren't getting a single drop of much-needed rain that was forecast for our area earlier today, so I stand by my previous description of this state as a damned shithole.

Trumplickans hope they can make fascism acceptable with insane, meaningless bullshitting.

For example: A young girl in Ohio, ten years old, was raped, resulting in her pregnancy, resulting in her effort to obtain an abortion in another state because abortion is illegal under current law in Ohio. Since this horrible situation creates a really bad look for Trumplickans, they hope to confuse the issue by claiming that termination of a pregnancy in these circumstances isn't really an abortion.

In the U.S. Senate, Moscow Mitch wants to create an illusion that the Trumplickan policy agenda is moderate. He thinks he can fool voters who are starting to abandon his party in large numbers by convincing them they aren't seeing and hearing things they are seeing and hearing.

Mark Meadows, who should have known better, is being singled out as the latest scapegoat in Donnie Duhmp's dwindling clique of loyal assistants. Will he finally wise up and spill his guts to the J6 committee? Maybe, but probably not. A plea agreement with the Justice Dept. might be a better move.

The Secret Service disposed of evidence (text messages) that had been requested by the House Select J6 Committee. Another clue there may be as many bad guys as good guys in the Secret Service? This should be an opportunity to start cleaning out the place. Obstruction of justice charges?
