Donald's big night

Donald Wangdoodle will finally be allowed by Madam Speaker to bask in the warm glow of Republican adoration tonight while he reads and/or ad libs his lame version of a State of the Union address. This steaming pile of fresh dog shit will be shown on ABC, CBS, NBC, PBS, and the cable news channels, and makes me grateful that someone invented the DVR. I stockpiled several hours of must-see TV shows, so I'll have something to watch while Wangdoodle's hour or two of must-avoid TV is carried live. All the outrageous stuff he says will be available in video clips on the Internet, so it's not like I'll miss anything. Right now, I'm planning to watch the Democratic Party rebuttal, presented by rising star Stacey Abrams, because I've heard so much about her since her 2018 campaign for governor in Georgia.

Update 5:12 PM Wednesday 6 Feb: I didn't watch any of Wangdoodle's campaign rally speech poorly disguised as a SOTU address. I watched Stacey Abrams, then about 45 minutes of the post-SOTU analysis on MSNBC. The best comment I heard was from Michael Steele, former RNC chairman, who said Wangdoodle didn't make any effort to broaden his public support with that speech. By now, he's desperately trying not to lose any of the support he still has, so he was speaking directly to his deplorable disciples, and only them.
