Obviously, the last thing on earth Republicans want to see is rapidly-growing numbers of extremely pissed-off anti-Trump voters. The main thing that worries them is a high-turnout election that even the Russians can't rig.
Complacent Democrats are part of the reason we're wading around in this shit in the first place. Too many of them got comfortable under Barack Obama, and the Bush 43 years were a fading memory. I'll take enraged Democratic voters over satisfied ones any day.
