I read something today that got my attention, and concisely summarizes what I believe about the fucking mess we've been in since January 2017. I'm paraphrasing here:
All those rural assholes who are in love with Donnie Sore Feet? They haven't been left behind... they've just chosen not to keep up.
Elsewhere, there's an emerging school of thought that Donnie Sore Feet has suddenly decided that after a year in the White House, he has everything figured out and he can just run the whole show by himself. This apparently means he'll shed the few remaining staffers who are capable of rational thought and have been protecting him from himself for fourteen months or so. The word is out that Donnie's liberated and it's making him giddy.
In full-scale loose cannon mode, Donnie's mistakes will be bigger and more frequent, and my opinion is that the erosion of his Congressional support will accelerate. Call it a classic example of things needing to get worse before they can get better.
