The Numbers

I came across something on the internet this morning that caught my attention, even though it should have been self-evident: Non-Hispanic conservative white men are a minority group in the United States, and their share of the population is gradually shrinking. White people as a whole are becoming outnumbered, and when you subdivide the white population into males vs. females, and liberal/moderate vs. conservative, the reality is undeniable.

I think it's beginning to dawn on conservative white men that their days as the dominant bloc in American politics are numbered, and the panic is starting to set in. That explains a lot of things.
