Governor Goober

With all of the real-life problems that my friends, family and I have been dealing with in recent months, it's hard to justify wasting much time commenting on the stupid-ass things some rightwingers are up to. Still, Rick Perry has been in the news lately, doing everything in his power to perpetuate the most embarrassing "typical Texan" stereotypes. First there was the incident in which he gunned down a coyote while he was jogging, then there was his suggestion that the big oil spill which will eventually play hell with the gulf coast was an "act of God." The sooner this turdball slips back into obscurity, the better.
