Take your pick.

For the first time this week, I've had a chance to spend several hours checking news updates and political analysis online. What I'm understanding is something along these lines:
  • If most states maintain current practices re: shelter-in-place, social distancing and self-quarantine, the spread of COVID-19 will be reduced, death rate will gradually diminish, and there will be some damage to the national economy.
  • If most states follow The Blob's directions, end current practices and resume business as usual, the spread of COVID-19 will explode, death rates will increase, and national economy will suffer extensive damage.
Which option looks like a winner for The Blob in November? Remember, winning the election is the most important item on his to-do list.
