It appears the Acting Director of National Intelligence has been ordered by someone who outranks the DNI to bury a whistle-blower complaint that has probably been corroborated, and probably involves a significant security breach or violation of some type by someone at or near the top of the Executive Branch. That's the gist of the day's biggest scandal as I understand it.
Call me nuts, but I have a feeling this matter represents a pivot point in the Dark Age of Donny Covfefe. If the House Intelligence Committee is able to break through the wall and verify what many people suspect to be true about the complaint, it will probably be the real beginning of the end for Covfefe, certainly more than the Mueller report has been.
On the other hand, if Donny's obstruction is successful, we're probably seeing the beginning of the end of the rule that no one, even the president, is above the law in the United States.
