So predictable.

This week, the five blogs in my publishing empire are examining the predictability of life in Donnie Polyp's version of American politics.

When it comes to qualifications for the office, Donnie meets the age and citizenship requirements. That's it. He's in way over his head in this position, and he knows it. The one part of his worthless life that was reasonably "successful" was the part he spent immersed in the make-believe world of reality TV shows, so it's predictable that he would stage and perform his presidency like one of those shows.

Donnie's world revolves around good TV ratings, and he's obsessed with keeping his audience share intact. To distract attention from his inability to manage the duties of the job, he pretends to be "reinventing" the office by constantly saying and doing things that the 44 real presidents were never caught deliberately saying or doing.

During his first year, open corruption and psychopathic behavior were so removed from normal presidential conduct that chaos resulted. In year three, Donnie's boasting, personal attacks, and unhinged behavior are still reported in the media like newsworthy events. Most people understand it's all part of an act, but he'll keep doing the same old shit as long as it makes him the hour's top story.

Having said that, public opinion polls are popping up that suggest things may still get interesting in the weeks following the Booger Barr letter.

The ideal outcome obviously would have been a Mueller report proving Donnie had committed impeachable offenses in the hands of every House committee chairman today. The worst outcome would obviously have been a Mueller report that completely exonerated Donnie and validated his witch hunt whining. We didn't get either of those.

The primary focus point is still the 2020 election and getting rid of Donnie and many of those Republicans in Congress who plug his asshole like semi-digested turds. If the trends shown in the early polls continue, a court battle over Republican efforts to conceal the Mueller report and cover up Donnie's crimes should give Democrats an advantage next year. Consider it a factor that motivates voter turnout.

PS: Apparently the only voters who believe the Mueller report completely exonerates Donnie Polyp are the same backwater dimwits and yahoos who wouldn't be bothered even if it didn't.
