Which is worse, debacle A or debacle B?

Republicans in the House of Representatives are obsessed with the notion they absolutely must vote to abolish the ACA today, on the seventh anniversary of the passage of the original legislation they labeled Obamacare. This is another one of those meaningless symbolic gestures that fascinate Republican politicians and the ignorant assholes who elect them. It would make much more sense to work through this patiently and diligently, but noooo...

Anyway, it's pretty obvious most people like the Affordable Care Act, even though they hate that Obamacare mess. For a long time, an amazing number of people didn't know those were two names for one thing, especially Republicans who get all their information from Fox News and AM talk radio.

Here's the dilemma for Republicans: They finally have the ability to deliver on something they've promised for seven years, only to discover that most voters prefer to leave the ACA alone, or better yet, keep it with improvements. The only people who want Trump Care are the same people who still think the so-called precedent (sic) is the best one we've ever had... the dead-enders who are totally beyond redemption.

No More Mister Nice Blog suggests the smart play for Republicans might be to stop talking about health care and just quietly walk away.

Of course, that suggestion ignores the proven fact that REPUBLICANS ALWAYS CHOOSE THE WORST OF THE POSSIBLE ALTERNATIVES.

Added 1:22 PM: And another poll that should get their attention, but won't.
