Vet affairs

Due to advances in medicine and other technology, many of those who are fighting in our 21st century wars are surviving wounds that would've been fatal in our 20th century wars, and consequently require lifetime VA medical care. A November 2013 report in Forbes stated the total number of non-fatal casualties in the Iraq and Afghanistan wars had exceeded 1,000,000. It seems like this factor should be taken into consideration while we're enjoying the usual chorus of anti-Obama pissing-and-moaning from the usual suspects on the right.
